Besar Island or previously known as Pulau Babi Besar have 3 resort which is D'Coconut, Aseania, and Mirage. I choose to stay at Mirage as good review at tripadvisor and a bit cheaper compare with other for weekend stay.

The cost to stay at Besar Island were higher if compare with Tioman Island because by type of transport to each island. The low cost of boat transfer to Tioman Island because by using ferry which can transfer a lot of passenger in one time. To Besar Island were using speed boat which higher the cost and lower the time consume to reach with about 30 minute. We depart fro Mersing Jetty at 12:30pm.

I choose to stay for 2 day 1 night package included 1 BBQ dinner, 1 breakfast, 1 welcome drink, return boat transfer and weekend surcharge with RM 250 per person. BBQ dinner prepared by Mirage were so nice and fresh

Office of register just situated beside Mersing Jetty.

Here is the A-Frame chalet for 2 person. It equip with two single bed, air-cond, fan, shower heater, and two lying chair at outside.

Mirage provide unlimited free 3 in 1 drink of Milo, Tea, Nescafe and etc.

We decided to take snorkeling as Mirage schedule us to check out and depart from Jetty at 2pm . Snorkeling cost RM80 per person come with gear. They will take us to 3 area for 3 hour.
