_- D -_ 1st Sketch + Render with Wacom Intuos5

finally i choose to get my 1st tablet....Wacom Intuos5 medium...reason is for sketching in computer with easily editing and colouring...for my 1st sketch and render i choose to modify Perodua Kelisa (which render before by using mouse at _- D -_ Sem5 Break Kelisa Rendering) by change it bumper design and wide body...

1st i use the old picture to sketch car body, change it bumper and etc....

2...i put grey colour for the backgound for better viewing...i fill the body base colour with medium blue that don't too bright or too dark...so that easy to control the light reflection on body...sketch layer place at top of all layer...by locked layer...

3...before start adding reflection on car body...i set the light source from upper left...by using lasso tool (for roughly select) and pen tool (for smooth select)...using brush tool (0% hardness and play with brush diameter) to fill in the selected area with reflection in new layer by using white and black colour...and erase tool (with 0% hardness) to smooth the reflection with car body base colour...try with new layer so that can easily change/erase...

4...this step i will fill in some detail for the headlight and rim...

5...highlight the edge that face light source....

6...this step fill in the headlight projection and break light reflection on floor...

Done...add some background and change car body base colour layer for the favourite colour...
